Your new remote start comes with a 4 or 5 button remote that locks, unlocks, operates power trunk/hatch release (if equipped) and remotely starts your vehicle.
To activate remote start:
To Start: Press your remote start button twice firmly with a 1-second pause between presses.
After 5 seconds your vehicle will start and within 15 seconds your parking lights will come on to confirm that your vehicle is running. It will remain running for 20 minutes.
To Unlock: Press the unlock button, enter the vehicle, insert your key into the ignition and turn it forward until it clicks twice.
Note: Be very careful not to turn your ignition to the start/crank position as this may cause your starter to re-engage. Also, if you step on the brake before turning the key, the engine will turn off.
To Turn Off: Press your remote start button twice firmly with a 1-second pause between presses.
Push Button

Additional Instructions for Certain Vehicle Models:
Toyota/Lexus/Acura: Pull on your driver’s door handle, the door will unlock and engine will shut off. Enter vehicle, restart, & drive away.
Nissan/Infiniti: As you approach the vehicle press the unlock button on your factory key-less entry, enter vehicle and press start/stop button twice before stepping on the brake. Step on brake and drive away.
Hyundai/Kia: As you approach the vehicle press unlock button. Driver’s door will unlock and a 45 second “window” will open for you to step on the brake
(security). As long as the brake is pressed within 45 seconds, the car can be driven away without restart.
To Turn Off: Press your remote start button TWICE firmly with a one second pause between presses.
